Veterinary services in Klamath Falls, OR.
We believe in providing your animal with the best veterinary medicine available and giving you your pet’s care options. Our in-house pet laboratory is one of the ways we achieve this goal and enhance the health of our pet population.
We also treat large animals and have a barn at East Ridge Animal Hospital. In our pursuit of providing the best service, house calls are also available for your convenience.
Our compassionate and caring team will ensure that your pet gets enough one-on-one care, interactive playtime, long walks, and nutritional meals. While our ‘pet resort’ has all of the loving amenities of a home, we understand that pets, like humans, can grow homesick at times. You are allowed to bring any items from home that would assist your pet rest while you are away to our boarding facility.
While we cannot prevent a pet’s death, we strive to provide end-of-life care that allows a pet to spend his or her final days with dignity and as much comfort as possible. When a pet’s life ends, either by natural causes or when his or her owner requests that we gently end suffering, we offer our on-site cremation as a loving and cost-effective way to lay the pet to rest.
Dental care is vital to the overall health of any animal. Dental disease leads to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys, and can affect the entire body through the bloodstream. In fact, 80% of dogs and 70% of cats over the age of three years old suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.

It’s common to wonder if your pet is suffering from a medical emergency. As a general rule, if something doesn’t feel quite right, call us. We’ll walk you through the problem and help you decide whether or not you should come see us. If you have a clear and present emergency condition, please visit us immediately.
Exotic Pet Services
When it comes to health, your exotic pet is much like any other member of the family. All types of birds, reptiles, exotics, and pocket pets require health and wellness care. Pet Hospice & Euthanasia
Saying goodbye to your pet can be extremely difficult, and the process can be emotionally and mentally draining. We don’t want you to be alone at the end stages of a pet’s life, and we promise to do everything we can to make it easier for you and your pet. Most of all, we promise to treat each case with compassionate and understanding care.
Microchipping is a standard procedure that implants a tiny chip underneath your pet’s fur. It is a painless and relatively fast procedure and is completely safe. This microchip is registered with your pet’s vital information and can be scanned by any veterinarian or animal shelter so that they can return your pet directly to you.
Pet Nutritional Counseling
Obesity is a common problem among pets, as it can be easy to overfeed a pet that knows how to beg. But being overweight is a serious problem for animals, and can cause real health problems as they get older. With proper diet and exercise, all pets should be able to meet their dietary needs and be within a healthy weight range.
Pet Parasite Prevention
At East and West Ridge Animal Hospitals, we emphasize the importance of preventing parasites. Through the use of preventatives, you can successfully protect your pet. But pets that are not protected often develop parasites, which lead to serious problems for them and their owners.
